Vacation time!

Hi friends, it's been a while since my last post, and I apologize.  I have been very busy in the past few weeks.  Here's an update on my life:  absolutely nothing has changed lol.  I'm a busy stay at home mom and I also am going to an alternative certification program for teaching on the weekends.  This summer flew by so fast.  I can't believe school is about to start.  With only a few weeks left, I have not been hired by a school district yet..bummer.  I put this in Gods hands and I knew that it might be a possibility that I wasn't going to get hired, and I was totally OK with that.  I love being a mom, and would dearly miss Maddie so much.  There is still a few more weeks left, and we will see what happens.

On August 23 my husband is having a his birthday!! We are going to take a small family vacation to the great city of San Antonio during that weekend! Looking forward to get away for a couple of days and enjoy the time with my family.  In July we took a mini trip to island, and that was a lot of fun! Here are some pics.

As you can see I wasn't in any of the pics because I was the one taking them.  Here's a funny story for you. I had reserved the hotel online, and didn't really know where the hotel was located. The pictures online only showed the pool and rooms. So when we left the beach and headed towards our hotel room, we ended up in the old mall building in SPI, and behind it was a 12 plus floor hotel room, and my husband commented to me "wow, you did a great choice!" I also got it at a discount so he has proud.  As we approached the hotel, we noticed it had a different name than the one we had rented lol.  It turned out that the hotel we rented was actually located inside the mall.  We couldn't stop laughing at the fact that we were staying inside the old mall.  It was actually pretty nice room.  I guess I did make a good choice after all.
