Introducing my blog

Hi everyone, my name is Nora, and I am new to blogging; so be kind! I wanted to start a page to able to share on what God is doing in my life.  As you can see from my title "I am a work in progress." Let me reiterate that: I AM A WORK IN PROGRESS!!  I really am! I am far from perfect, and this page is a tool that I can use to share my progress with you.

So let me tell you a little bit about myself.  Here it goes. I am a 32 year girl from Texas, born and raised! I've been a believer of Jesus Christ all my life,  but as an adult I drifted apart from the Lord and chose to live my life my way.  Guess how that turned out?  Not so good. But when I came back to my savior He received me with arms wide open!

Since then He has been molding me little by little, and this blog will be about my walk through life with Him.  I am happily married to my high school sweet heart!  Well sort of, we went to high school together and graduated the same year, but didn't formally meet till about 3 years ago.....does that still make him my high school sweet heart hehehehe! He is a great man of God and I am blessed to have found him.  He also drifted from the Lord, but is back on track!  He has two boys, named Hunter and Diego who are 8 and 9 years old.  I am also a mommy to 18 month year old baby girl named Madison Faith (Maddie)!  She is mommy's pride and joy!

I was raised in a family with 5 girls. My mom and sisters are by bestfriends! We are the N sisters: Noemi, Nora, Nancy, Nelda and Nelly. My eldest sister Noemi is the pastor of the church I attend.  I have the privilege to lead worship alond side my husband.  We also teach the youth at the church.
I am currently looking for a position in a school district to teach high school English.  I have been a stay at home mom since the birth of my daughter and I have mixed feelings about going back to work.  So I have prayed about it, and asked God to open a door if it is in His will for me to go back to work.

Well this was just a short introduction about my blog and a little bit about who I am.  I will love to share more about me in the near future.  Thanks for reading, and have a blessed day!
